Recognizing Budnick Team Members

Budnick is a privately held and woman-owned company. In 1982, Budnick’s current owner, Ann, took over operations from her father and was instrumental in leading Budnick into the converting industry. As President, Ann continues to be an integral part of Budnick’s day-to-day operations. Ann’s daughter, Christy, began working for Budnick in 2008 and is actively involved in helping Ann manage Budnick’s growth and direction.  

Our annual award ceremony was very different this year, with social distancing and most employees attending virtually. However, it was still a fun day celebrating Budnick and recognizing our award winners. Employees of the Year for fiscal year 2020 were Operator - Tim, MIS - Brad, Marketing - Jodi, and Warehouse - Scott. We certainly appreciate their dedication and commitment to excellence!

Special awards were also given to team members recognizing them for their Teamwork, Leadership, Achievement, and Attitude.  

Ann and Christy know the importance of reinvesting in the company, hiring good people, putting them in a position to succeed, rewarding their efforts and empowering them to take initiative. This philosophy has created many long-term associates that are truly dedicated to performing at a high level and taking great care of our many valued customers. This year, we honored 2 employees that have been with Budnick for 10 years, 1 for 15 years, 5 for 20 years, 1 for 25 years, and 1 for 30 years!  

50% of our team members have been at Budnick more than 10 years, and over half of those have been here 20 years or longer. These long-term employees have the knowledge, dedication, and commitment that is invaluable to Budnick. The commitment of all these experienced individuals is critical to providing the excellent service our customers deserve.
