**Discontinued-- 3M recommends 1350F-1 white**3M 1298 is a 2.5 mil electrical tape featuring a polyester film backing with a flame retardant acrylic adhesive used for magnet wire enamels and insulation applications. 1298 tape is compatible with most commonly used magnet wire enamels, such as polyurethane, formvar and polyester. UL file number E17385 A and B, Guide OANZ2, Underwriters Laboratiories (UL) recognized products have been evaluated for use as components of end-product equipment that is listed or classified by UL. To achieve Underwriters Laboratories recognition, component construction must meet UL specifications and conditions of acceptability for proper and safe use of the component or product.
