High-Temperature Masking Tape
3M masking tape 213 is a 6.1 mil, smooth, crepe paper treated with a high heat and solvent resistant saturant with a firm rubber adhesive formulated for maximum transfer resistance and high holding power. It is a high-temperature resistant tape for use in masking and holding applications where temperatures reach 350°F up to one hour. 213 has a firm and transfer-resistant adhesive and does not anchor itself as softer adhesives often do. It is ideal for use on aluminum anodized surfaces. 213 should not be subjected to outdoor exposure or prolonged periods of sunlight. It may become very difficult to remove.
