3M discontinued this product & recommends 231, 2693 or 2380 as alternatives 3M masking tape 2310 is a 7.5 mil high temperature tape with high adhesion suitable for most paint applications. This strong, smooth masking tape embodies all the features that are desireable of a paint masking tape. Tape should not be subjected to outdoor exposure or prolonged periods of sunlight. Tape may become very difficult to remove.
