3M discontinued this product see Compar-A-Tape 3M 280 is a 8.3mil, flat stock tape for applications where extra backing thickness and strength are needed. This tape has a thicker paper backing for use in applications requiring a higher tensile and extra strength paper flatback tape. The thicker backing provides abrasion resistance for protecting surfaces. It should not be subjected to outdoor exposure. Tape may become very difficult to remove. Tape 280 is manufactured in an ISO 9002 registered plant to meet worldwide quality standards.
