3785
Superior Performance Continuous Taping System Tape
3785 is a 3.1 mil, biaxially oriented polypropylene film with a hot melt, rubber-resin adhesive. It offers superior performance for a wide range of environments and applications. 3785 has the strongest, conformable backing with the most consistent pressure sensitive hot melt adhesive system available. It is a superior performance packaging tape used for box sealing and specially designed for use with the 3M-Matic™ Continuous Taping Systems (CTS) stand. Application is most easily accomplished at room temperature. At colder temperatures, approaching 32°F, the adhesive becomes more firm. Once applied, it performs well throughout the normal temperature ranges typically encountered by packaged products in shipping and storage environments.

It is essential, as with all pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is applied be clean, dry and free of grease and oil.
Shelf life from date of manufacture is based on the product being stored at 70°F(21°C) / 50% relative humidity out of direct sunlight.
Specification compliance is dynamic and should only be used as a general guide. Always confirm that the tape you are interested in currently complies with all specification requirements. Please verify that the product number that you select is available in the proper size and color to meet your specification.
