***Discontinued*** Double Coated Tape

Discontinued product possible alternative 9925XL A 3.0 mil. tape with R-70 rubber adhesive and a thin paper tissue backing primarily used for mounting, joining, splicing and tacking carpet edges. 464XL is ideal for applications where an aggresive rubber-resin adhesive with high initial adhesion is reqiured. R- 70 is a soft rubber-resin pressure-sensitive adhesive system. It features high initial adhesion to a wide variety of materials, along with a thin tissue that reinforces the adhesive, allowing its use in many 3M double coated tape dispensers. 464XL also consists of an extended liner (XL), that extends beyond the width of the adhesive to provide easy liner starting and removal. The extended liner also provides a dry edge on each side of the tape for easy removal, however, this decreases the adhesive coating by 1/4in. overall. The liner is printed with the message, "Remove to Expose Adhesive". This product is not recommended for direct exposure to sunlight or other sources of ultra violet light. Due to it's high adhesion, 464XL will normally transfer adhesive or delaminate when removed from most surfaces.
