4731
Vinyl Electroplating Tape
A 7.0 mil. pigmented vinyl backing with a rubber adhesive primarily used for electroplating, paint masking and other general purpose applications. The backing of 4731 offers excellent abrasion, moisture, alkali, and acid resistance. While 4731 resists most common solvents, care should be taken to avoid ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons and esters found in lacquer thinners, degreasers, paint strippers, etc. which may cause the backing to swell or curl.
