***Discontinued*** Vinyl Tape-Flame Resistant
3M discontinued this product see Compar-A-Tape A 6.3 mil. flame retardant, grey vinyl backing tape with a rubber adhesive used for many sealing applications. 474's tape construction will not support combustion. Best results for tape application and adhesion are attained when applied on a clean, dry surface at temperatures between 60 - 80°F. Tape is ideal for warm and cold air ducts; either high or low velocity systems and dust collecting systems. Temperature operating range is 40 -170°F. Low moisture vapor transmission rate of 474 tape allows use as a vapor barrier seal in many applications. Conformability allows greater system efficiency when used in the sealing of hot/ cold air handling ductwork. Store in a clean and dry environment between 60 - 80°F and 40 - 50% relative humidity.
