***Discontinued*** Colored Film Tape
Discontinued 8459 is a 2.6 mil, Scotchpro™ colored film tape is designed for specialty sealing and combining applications. This tape features Scotchpro™ film for excellent abrasion resistance. Using specially designed 3M applicating equipment, the tape can be made to contour to objects being sealed, attached, and stacked. This tape is often chosen for security closure applications, decorative or color coding requirements, and for convenience opening needs. An extensive line of semi-automatic equipment is available to facilitate application of #8459. An engineering staff is ready to handle special applications with modified or custom equipment. Prior to use, storage of tape at 70°F and 40-50% relative humidity is recommended.
