Discontinued Scotch 8470 is a 3.2 mil, high performance transparent narrow width film tape designed to form multipacks from single packages, and can also be used in many general purpose sealing applications. State of the art precesses for film making, adhesive coating and pressure sensitive tape converting lead a very consistent and reliable product for today's market. Store in a clean and dry place between the temperatures of 40°F to 80°F and 40-50% relative humidity.

Adhesive Tape Applications
- Semi-automatic and automatic application equipment is available for product combining, attaching L-clips and for canister taping
- Application of #8470 is most easily accomplished at room temperature
- At colder temperatures, approaching 32°F, the adhesive becomes more firm
- Once applied, #8470 performs well throughout the normal temperature ranges typically encountered by packaged products in shipping and storage environments
