14 mil Polyurethane Long-term Surface Protection

3M 8673 is a 14 mil tough thermoplastic polyurethane surface protection film tape that is formulated for long-term ultraviolet light protection. It has a solvent resistant, pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive. It is typically used in Aerospace and general industry to protect parts from corrosion, abrasion, puncture,and minor impact damage. This product is easily installed, can be painted and is suitable for painted surfaces. It is commonly referred to as "leading edge tape". 8673 DL has an additional PET liner that is great for plotter cutting and easy installation. It is recommended to review 3M's "Polyurethane Protective Tape Application Instructions" when applying.
