Double Coated Tape with 200MP Adhesive

A 5.6 mil. tape with a polyester backing and 200MP acrylic adhesive coated on both sides is primarily used for graphic overlays and attaching LED lenses. The carrier provides easier handling during slitting and die-cutting, while 200MP adhesive is not recommended for low energy plastics, such as polypropylene and polyethylene. Adhesive provides exceptional temperature and chemical resistance.
9495B has a black polyester film to provide opacity and visibility.
9495BF is a clear polyester film with clear, 2 mil, PET liner to provide opacity or visibility for ease in rotary die-cutting and applications that demand low particle generating parts. Also available is 9495MP which is a clear PET with a 4mil, 58# polycoated, printed, kraft paper liner.

It is essential, as with all pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is applied be clean, dry and free of grease and oil.

Shelf life from date of manufacture is based on the product being stored at 70°F(21°C) / 50% relative humidity out of direct sunlight.

Specification compliance is dynamic and should only be used as a general guide. Always confirm that the tape you are interested in currently complies with all specification requirements. Please verify that the product number that you select is available in the proper size and color to meet your specification.
