***Discontinued*** Double Coated Tape Adhesive

Discontinued A 9.4 mil. double coated tape featuring unplasticized polyvinyl chloride backing with high-tack 360 acrylic adhesive used for trim, heavy duty materials, heavy weight and roller blind applications. The acrylic adhesive is a medium-firm, pressure-sensitive with key characteristics which includes a combination of high grab and initial adhesion with excellent static shear holding power. The adhesive shows excellent resistance to plasticizer migration, UV and humidity resistance and has the resistance to natural aging associated with acrylic adhesives. The thick adhesive layers also offer a good bond to rough surfaces, such as Melamine and fabrics. 9586F tape also has a film carrier, which adds dimensional stability to foams and other substrates. The carrier provides easier handling during slitting and die-cutting. Available with 3.9mil, red, HDPE liner as 9586WF.

It is essential, as with all pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is applied be clean, dry and free of grease and oil.

Shelf life from date of manufacture is based on the product being stored at 70°F(21°C) / 50% relative humidity out of direct sunlight.

Specification compliance is dynamic and should only be used as a general guide. Always confirm that the tape you are interested in currently complies with all specification requirements. Please verify that the product number that you select is available in the proper size and color to meet your specification.
