9960
Repulpable Single Coated Splicing Tape
Semi-bleached paper coated with blue repulpable adhesive and siliconized repulpable paper liner. 9960 has excellent affinity to Cellulose Fibers and Paper Coatings and excellent high temperature resistance. It is important to follow the weight and quantity measurements for the fiber, splicing tape and water. Non-representative results can occur if test guidelines are not followed. For optimum results, firm even rub down pressure must be applied to the taped area to create the best possible adhesion between the tape and paper surface. A plastic squeegee (3M PA 1-B) or similar tool can be very effective in helping achieve adquate pressure.
