Product Features

  • Shelf life = 6 months with adhesive and 2 years without adhesive
  • Thickness varies--contact Budnick
  • Back Stripping-- Also known as reverse wrapping is when the foam product is manufactured with the adhesive side exposed. The length is determined with the foam used in this manner. When the use requires the adhesive side to be against the paper, the product has to be reverse wrapped so the uncoated foam is exposed. This causes a loss of yield in length. The reason for this loss is that the configuration of the foam is changed because the foam is compressed onto a shorter length of liner. The loss will be equal to the outer circumference of the material minus 10 inches.
  • Remains pliable from -20°C to 78°C (-4°F to 172°F)
  • UL HF-1/HBF conformance

Adhesive Tape Applications

  • Used in applications requiring UL 94 HF-1/HBF conformance
  • Seals out dust, dirt, moisture and air

It is essential, as with all pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is applied be clean, dry and free of grease and oil.

Shelf life from date of manufacture is based on the product being stored at 70°F(21°C) / 50% relative humidity out of direct sunlight.

Specification compliance is dynamic and should only be used as a general guide. Always confirm that the tape you are interested in currently complies with all specification requirements. Please verify that the product number that you select is available in the proper size and color to meet your specification.
