UHMW Polyethylene Tape
750-5 is a 6.8 mil, Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) polyethylene that is coated with an aggressive, acrylic adhesive system. The UHMW film provides an excellent low friction, non-stick surface, in many ways similar to PTFE. The UHMW film has a very high tensile strength that is very tough and abrasion resistant. It is used primarily for automotive applications such as anti-squeak and sound deadening. They are also used in various mechanical applications such as chute liners, wear pads and guide rails.
