DCPET 3547
***Discontinued*** Hi/Lo Polyester Film Tape
Discontinued DCPET 3547 is a 3.75mil double coated tape featuring a differentially coated hi-lo tack acrylic adhesive sytem on a 1.0mil (25 micron) clear polyester film. The liner side is coated with a controlled, low tack, highly removable clear adhesive system which exhibits moderate adhesion to a variety of surfaces, but offers excellent removability. The exposed side is coated with an aggressive, high tack, peel, and shear, permanent acrylic adhesive. Both adhesives are excellent in low and monderate temperatures and offer resistance to UV, moisture, some solvents, mild acids, oils, and grease. DCPET 3547 offers excellent adhesion to metals, glass, films, paper, and some treated polyolefins. It is used as a closure system for reclosable bags, pouches, and envelopes, core start-ups and end tabbing of paper, foils, and films, and making removable stickers and labels. It can be used for mounting promotional advertising and point of purchase displays that can easily be removed/replaced/repositioned. DCPET 3547 can also be used for the temporary holding of packaging and protective materials during shipment as well as some temporary lamination applications.
