5 mil Self Wound Aluminum Foil Tape
DUCTFOIL 4070 is a 5Mil high strength self-wound aluminum foil tape consisting of a 3 mil dead soft aluminum foil coated with an aggressive acrylic adhesive system to create a superior bond. This tape is designed to stick firmly to its own backing. The malleable foil conforms well to irregular surfaces. DUCTFOIL 4070 is a premier product for masking in paint stripping and electroplating. It is also used for waterproofing, vapor barrier and air leakage protection, metal patching and sound damping, sealing system for refrigerated appliances and microwave ovens. DUCTFOIL 4070's high reflectivity assures effective heat, light interference, and electrical insulation shielding. The 3Mil foil is also great for protecting outdoor cable splices.
