Novagard / Foam Seal
70P UL
Low Density PVC Foam Tape
Foam Seal 70P UL is a low density industrial Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) foam tape formulated to conform to UL HF-1/HBF* and is a recognized component of Underwriters Laboratories. It has an acrylic adhesive and is used for general air, dust, and moisture seal gasketing and sound damping. UL File # E 112126 (QMFZ2) BACK STRIPPING Also known as reverse wrapping. Foam Seal/Novagard manufactures the foam with the adhesive side exposed. The length is determined with the foam used in this manner. When the user requires the adhesive side to be against the paper, the product has to be reverse wrapped so the uncoated foam is exposed. This causes a loss of yield in length. The reason for this loss is that the configuration of the foam is changed because the foam is compressed onto a shorter length of liner. The loss will be equal to the outer circumference of the material minus 10 inches.

The physical properties listed are typical values and are not to be considered as specifications. Our suggestions for use are based on tests we believe to be reliable. However, the purchaser must carry out their own tests to determine the suitability of the product for their internal use. Information is given in good faith, but without warranty.
It is essential, as with all pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is applied be clean, dry and free of grease and oil.
Shelf life from date of manufacture is based on the product being stored at 70°F(21°C) / 50% relative humidity out of direct sunlight.
Specification compliance is dynamic and should only be used as a general guide. Always confirm that the tape you are interested in currently complies with all specification requirements. Please verify that the product number that you select is available in the proper size and color to meet your specification.
