Permacel sold A&E line to Shurtape. Shurtape combined this item with P672 Gaffer's tape is a 11.5 mil, vinyl-coated, cotton cloth tape. It is used in the photography/motion picture/television industries for holding and sealing applications. Gaffer's tape is used for the temporary mounting of light fixtures and reflectors; for the moisture and dustproof sealing of equipment cases & film containers; for bundling and positioning of floor cables; and as floor marks for actor's positioning.
