***Discontinued*** Film/Paper Electrical Tape

DISCONTINUED BY PERMACEL Please use Compare-A-Tape to locate a substitute. P236 is a 5 mil, polyester film/paper combination, electrical insulating tape. It is engineered for use in the manufacture of small size dry type stick wound transformers and solenoid coils as hold-down ground, barrier, layer and outer wrap insulation. P236 is an economical general-purpose insulating tape. Ideal tapes for anchoring leads and spacers, and for coil covers or outer wraps and coil end insulation. Also recommended for start and finish lead cross-over insulation in small bobbin wound coils; in small motors for bundling end turns; for phase insulation; for ground insulation and bundling wire on small field coils and as ground insulation under commutator leads.
