25A26
2.5 mil Co-Extruded Polyethylene Protective Tape
25A26 is a 2.5 mil co-extruded protective tape featuring polyethylene backing with an acrylic adhesive that offers enhanced abrasion resistance for the protection of metals, plastics and glass. 25A26 tape offers excellent abrasion resistance to help protect aluminum, stainless sheets, coils and painted metals from surface damage, such as scratching, abrading, etc.. The enhanced elongation properties of the film allow the tape to be left on during many forming operations where damage may occur. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV sunlight which may affect the performance of the tape. The abrasion resistance testing was conducted using ASTM test method D4060 and a taber abrader employing a CS-10 wheel and 1000 grams of auxiliary weights.

It is essential, as with all pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is applied be clean, dry and free of grease and oil.
Shelf life from date of manufacture is based on the product being stored at 70°F(21°C) / 50% relative humidity out of direct sunlight.
Specification compliance is dynamic and should only be used as a general guide. Always confirm that the tape you are interested in currently complies with all specification requirements. Please verify that the product number that you select is available in the proper size and color to meet your specification.
