PTFE Coated Fiberglass
A-2205 is a 5.5 mil, premium grade PTFE coated fiberglass tape with high temperature silicone pressure sensitive adhesive. The fiberglass providees dimensional stability and restricts PTFE cold flow. Only molten alkali metals and fluorine under elevated temperatures and pressure will attack the PTFE surface. The PTFE surface provides a quick release surface.
