M716 has been discontinued by Saint-Gobain, the replacement is M734 orange and M788 Aqua M716 is a 2.1 mil, polyester film with a voilet rubber adhesive. The polyester film offers an economical method to hold, insulate and/or protect materials. M716 was designed for use as a fume protection tape for the manufacturing of printed circuit boards. It adheres to both p.c. boards and printed circuit elements thereby emphasizing good sealing characteristics without high adhesion and adhesive transfer.
