Acrylic/Glass Cloth Tape
S1197 is a 7.5 mil premium grade glass cloth coated with an acrylic adhesive. The thermosetting adhesive provides outstanding chemical and solvent resistance with minimum out-gassing. This tape has excellent pressure sensitive adhesion properties as well as superior electrical insulation qualities and application conformability. Acrylic thermosetting adhesive system with glass cloth that is specially designed for holding coil leads, anchoring terminal boards, insulating coil connections, coil end, and terminal board pads. Well suited for slot insulation, motor lead, internal connections, and cable harness wrapping. Highly recommended for general purpose insulating and holding applications involving heavy-gauge wire and high temperature applications.
