Double Coated White UPVC Tape
tesa 4970 is a 9 mil, white, double coated tape, consisting of a PVC carrier and an acrylic adhesive. It is used primarily in permanent mounting applications such as decorative name plates & wooden trims. It offers a secure bond to low surface energy substrates, rough surfaces and is plasticizer resistant. tesa 4970 is often referred to as tesa "Gold Liner tape" or "Trophy Tape" because it is the Trophy and POP display industries "go to" item and it has a gold liner. Budnick die cuts and slits tesa 4970 to many custom dimensions.
