tesa Double-sided Film-Backed tape
tesa 4982 is a 3.9mil transparent double-sided self-adhesive tape consisting of a polyester (PET) backing and a modified acrylic adhesive. It has an excellent bonding strength-to-thickness ration, and bonds well to most common smooth, even substrates. This product was once known as Red Pro and 51566, but in Oct. of 2019 tesa USA changed the part # to 4982 PV6 to match their international numbering system. Note 4982 PV6 has a red MOPP-film liner and 4982 PV0 has a brown glassine paper liner.
