Foam Platemounting for Process Printing
52021 is a 20 mil, double coated foam tape for mounting photopolymer plates in wide-web film and paper flexoprinting. Due to its lower density, closed cell polyethylene foam, 52021 is particularly suited for high-quality process printing on steel cylinders. Closed cell PE foam with high recovery rate provides excellent resiliency even during long print runs. This ensures outstanding, consistent print quality throughout the printing process. It is manufactured with a unique adhesive system which remains stable over time, allowing secure mounting, easy re-positioning, and simple de-mounting. The tesa Softprint polypropylene liner embosses the adhesive providing excellent handling characteristics while mounting and also during the air-bubble release process. Red tesa logo imprint makes for easy identification, even after mounting.
