53000 PV1
Premium High Strength Tape for Low Energy Surfaces
53000PV1 is a 5.0 mil, tensilized polypropylene designed for holding low energy surfaces such as appliances. It combines a revolutionary new backing, with a high performance synthetic rubber adhesive system. The heavy duty tensilized polypropylene (TPP) backing is specially oriented to provide high tensile strength in a thinner backing than traditional TPP tapes. In addition, the orientation is such that the elongation is dramatically reduced up to half of that traditional TPP tapes. The synthetic rubber adhseive system provides a secure bond to difficult surfaces and removes clean off the surface without adhesive residue and filament delamination.

It is essential, as with all pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is applied be clean, dry and free of grease and oil.
Shelf life from date of manufacture is based on the product being stored at 70°F(21°C) / 50% relative humidity out of direct sunlight.
Specification compliance is dynamic and should only be used as a general guide. Always confirm that the tape you are interested in currently complies with all specification requirements. Please verify that the product number that you select is available in the proper size and color to meet your specification.
