7158 is discontinued by tesa they recommend 50658, 50605, 4959 as an alternatives. 7158 is a 4 mil, double coated splicing tape primarily used in high speed and high temperature conditions of the corrugated board industry. It has a non-woven backing and is coated with an acrylic adhesive of very high tack and good shear strength. 7158 is resistant to light, aging and is largely resistant to plasticizers.
