***Discontinued*** PCB Electroplating Mask
Discontinued 3M1290 is a 2.2 mil. tape with polyester backing and a rubber adhesive used to help protect large areas of circuit boards during electroplating. Direct sunlight exposure to tape may cause adhesion build up. Adhesion level in adhesive increase with age. High temperatures and stacking pressures increase the rate of adhesion build up. To obtain best performance, use this product within 12 months from date of manufacture and store under normal conditions of 60°F to 80°F and 50% relative humidity in the original carton.
