3M™ electrical tape 44HT is a 5.5 mil polyester film/polyester web coated with a thermosetting pressure sensitive adhesive. The tape is a high tack, puncture resistant, conformable tape with excellent electrical properties.

- For maximum solvent resistance and holding properties, the tape should be thermoset at one of the following cycles: 1 hr @ 300°F, 2 hrs @ 275°F, 3 hrs @ 250°F
Adhesive Tape Applications
- Used for end turns and lead wire hold down in motors
- Anchoring, insulating and protecting start wires, leads, terminal strips and insulation papers in transformers
- Holding and anchoring in stick-wound and bobbin-wound coils
