Flying Paster Tape
913 is a 3mil, repulpable double coated tape, primarily used for newsprint. It is a light-weight tissue coated on both sides with a blue repuplable adhesive for quick grab to newsprint. The tape is furnished on a repulpable easy-release paper liner. Packing in sealed plastic bags help assure constant moisture content of unused tape. Virtually eliminates the "human element" from flying splice adhesive operations. There are no "drying times", "correct mixtures", "too soft", "too wet", etc. which can depend on operator performance or judgements. Water solubility and alkali dispersability are excellent and eliminate danger of contaminating the paper mill broke with non-repulpable material. Not recommended for finished roll splices where oozing and bleeding may occur.
