*** 3M discontinued this item & recommends 6038PL as an alternative. 964 is a 13.0 mil laminating tape featuring #300MP hi-strength tackified acrylic adhesive on a polycoated paper liner used for attaching carpet, nameplates and graphic appliques. The adhesive resists softening through edge contact with mild acids, alkalis, oil, gasoline, kerosene, JP-4 fuel and many other solvents. 964 tape is not recommended for total immersion of these chemicals and solvents.
