3M
9851
***Discontinued*** Polyester Laminating Adhesive
Discontinued 3M product. Please use Compare-A-Tape to locate a substitute. A 3.5 mil. laminating tape featuring a polyester film backing with #900A rubber adhesive coated on both sides that is used for general purpose applications. 9851 tape should not be used in applications requiring exposure to wate or high humidity. This tape is good for most indoor applications and can be used for outdoor applications if the adhesive is not directly exposed to the environment. Avoid contact with plasticized vinyl or plastized rubber surfaces, because 9851 tape is not resistant to plasticizers and the rubber adhesive will soften.
