3M XP2112 is a 5 mil thick high performance, solventless, acrylic transfer tape. The XP series of tapes are designed for high shear holding in high or low temperature applications. XP2112 is typically used for hanging or attaching posters, signs, nameplates, recognition placards decorative trim and molding. The X-Series has four performance categories: XP- High Performance Acrylic- superior holding power over a range of temperatures XT- High Tack Acrylic- excellent initial adhesion for hard-to-stick to surfaces XG- General Purpose Acrylic- a clean acrylic adhesive for paper bonding and sensitive applications XR- Rubber adhesive- good initial grab and clean removal on many surfaces
