Skived PTFE
215-5 is a 5 mil PTFE coated with a high temperature acrylic adhesive. It is used primarily in electrical applications such as coil wraps and separators, slot liners and harness wrapping where good insulation is needed. The acrylic PTFE tapes also find applications in composite bonding shops where silicone adhesive tapes are not permitted.
