423-3
UHMW Polyethylene Film
423-3 is a 3 mil, UHMW polyethylene film with an aggressive permanent acrylic adhesive. The UHMW film provides an excellent low friction, non-stick surface in many ways similar to PTFE. The film has a very high tensile strength and is very tough and abrasion resistant. This tape has two primary applications automotive and mechanical. The 423 series has passed a series of automotive tests for use by GM, Ford and Daimler-Chrysler. Mechanical applications include chute liners, wear pads and guide rails.
