Aluminum Foil Duct Tape
488ECO has a 1.2 mil, dead soft aluminum backing & a rubber, pressure sensitive adhesive. It is for sealing duct and dual temperature insulation materials faced with aluminum. The foil bends with the facing and gives a strong, matching look. At the same time taped joints assure the integrity of the insulation. The aluminum foil tape is also used for seaming joints in metal storage sheds, refrigeration cases and other metal fabricating.
