Discontinued Item 527 is a 6.0 mil, natural colored, moisture resistant, crepe paper tape, coated with a stain resistant natural / synthetic rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive capable of withstanding bake temperatures up to 265°F for one hour and/or exposure to ultra-violet (UV) light for up to (5) hours. The specially designed adhesive allows #527 to stick firmly and securely to most surfaces with clean removal. Primarily used for spray painting aftermarket autos, boats, etc., wooden window manufacturing (temporary bonding), some PCB (printed circuit board) manufacturing, and any critical masking application requiring higher temperature resistance versus most general purpose masking tapes.
