Polyester Supported Laminating Adhesive
C501-12PT is a supported, high performance laminating adhesive designed for high performance automotive foam fabricating applications bonded to polypropylene, polyethylene, TEO, and TPO. The unwind side is coated with our MP33 foam bonding adhesive which exhibits excellent adhesion to ether and ester urethane foams. The liner side is coated with a high molecular weight synthetic rubber based adhesive that bonds well to high and low surface energy substrates and exhibits excellent shear strength. C501-12PT is recommended for wrap-around applications where heat resistance is required. The adhesive has been certified to Ford specification ESP-M3G76-B2 and General Motors GM3622M type IV.
