***Discontinued*** Repulpable Splicing Tape
Discontinued 4447 is a single-coated, 3.6 mil, repulpable, paper tape used in the paper printing industry to splice web together. Used for web feeding and manual splicing it is suitable for light-weight papers. The very high shear adhesion can even resist high web tension at high temperatures of 220°F for short terms. The blue adhesive clearly marks the spliced area. The adhesive is water soluble over the full pH-range (pH 3 - pH 9).
