Temperature Resistant Surface Coated Cloth Tape
4657 is an 11.5 mil, plastic coated cloth used in vehicle high temperature paint masking, whenever high stress such as paint solvents, easy removal after high temperatures and conformability is needed. Not suitable for brush washing processes with dichlorodifluoromethane or Freon 12.

- Heat resistant masking during the production of vehicles and machines (for screw tap holes, flange surfaces and drainage boreholes) Multiple stage oven drying is also possible
- Partial masking during treatment with impregnating agents (base corners remain as bare metal)
- Partial masking electrostatic powder coating
Adhesive Tape Applications
- Resistance to high temperatures. Values obtained in practice: up to 212°:F= constant resistance, up to 320°:F =two hours 350°:F and over = 0.5 hours
- Removal of the tape without any residue (it is advisable to remove while warm)
