Repulpable Butterflies
54287 are 4 mil, single-face die cuts for fixing the top layer of paper reels during acceleration prior to performing flying splices. They have good tack, shear adhesion, as well as good repulpability at all pH-values. 54287 butterflies are used when tub shaped splices are performed. They are not release coated, thus taping over the backing of the die cuts poses no problem. Exact execution of the center stays ensures secure hold during acceleration of reel as well as exact separation on contact.
