Medium Temperature Paint Masking Tape
3M 234 masking tape is a 5.9 mil general purpose crepe paper tape. It is used for holding, bundling, sealing, and medium temperature paint bake operations. A smooth crepe paper treated with a heat and solvent resistant saturant. 234 is designed for non-critical paint masking, and it is classified as a 3M class II Silver paint masking. 234 uses a solvent free manufacturing process. In addition, this product meets the heavy metals content as stated in Article 11 of European Directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste and the laws based on CONEG model legislation.
