PTFE Tape
663 is a 4.3 mil, highly tensilized PTFE film coated with a high temperature silicone adhesive. 663 is "burnt orange" in color utilizing a film that is tensilized and combined with a unique filled composition to enhance the performance characteristics that are similar to an extruded PTFE tape. It has an extremely high tensile strength, increased wear properties and high temperature resistance unlike any other Dewal product. It is used in various operations thoughout the aircraft maintenance markets. Other appplications include roll protection in high speed, high temperature flat die extrusion of polyethylene coatings and laminations.
