P232 is a 2.5 mil, polyester film, electrical insulating tape. It is ideal for tabbing and holding silicone varnished glass cloth used as a ground, barrier and outer protective insulation in large stick wound and form wound transformer, reactor and solenoid coils. P232 is widely used for holding winding starts, tap breakouts, and finish turns of small stick and bobbin wound coils. It performs holding functions with other silicone insulations and silicone-treated materials.
