



ERP Analyst
Budnick Converting, Inc., headquartered in Columbia, IL (in the St. Louis, MO metropolitan area), is a privately held and female owned corporation. Budnick’s primary focus is specialty converting of adhesive coated tapes and foams. POSITION PURPOSE: We are seeking an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Analyst to support and optimize our Epicor ERP System with a focus on MRP, manufacturing, supply chain, scheduling, demand management, and BOM/MOM (Bill of Material/Methods of Manufacturing). The ERP Specialist will play a critical role in optimizing and maintaining our ERP system to enhance business operations as well as drive efficiency and growth. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve system functionality and ensure efficient production planning and execution. The position will require travel to and from our St. Louis and Kansas City, MO locations (approximately 1 week per month).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Configure, maintain, and enhance Epicor ERP modules related to MRP, manufacturing, supply chain, scheduling, and demand management.
- Develop, analyze, and improve Material Requirements Planning (MRP) workflows to optimize inventory and production efficiency.
- Support production scheduling and capacity planning to meet customer demand while maximizing resource utilization.
- Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of BOMs (Bill of Materials) and MOMs (Method of Manufacturing) within Epicor.
- Identify and implement best practices for demand planning and supply chain optimization using Epicor.
- Create BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, and reports to support decision-making and improve operational visibility.
- Work closely with IT, operations, and finance teams to troubleshoot system issues and enhance ERP functionality.
- Participate in all phases of the ERP software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, builds, date migrations, implementation, testing and deployment.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective utilization of Epicor ERP.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the ERP system.
- Work with external vendors and consultants as needed to system integrations or specialized projects.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in software development.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
- Strong expertise in MRP, manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and production scheduling within Epicor.
- Solid technical knowledge with the ability to express complex concepts in terms understandable to key stakeholders.
- Interpersonal and communication skills as well as analytical and conceptual thinking skills required. Strong individual contributor, while often working within teams and collaborating with others across departments.
- Good organization, planning, time management and documentation skills required. Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Ability:
- Conduct business in a professional, positive and courteous manner. Ability to troubleshoot system problems and implement solutions without being confrontational.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience working with Epicor ERP 10 (Kinetic) or later.
- Experience supporting, training, installing and upgrading ERP systems. Experience in Epicor Kinetic ERP customization and Application Studio.
- Hands-on experience with BOM (Bill of Materials) and MOM (Method of Manufacturing) setup and optimization.
- Experience in Business activity Queries (BAQs), Dashboards, Business Process Management (BPMs).
- Experience in Microsoft SQL: SQL Queries, T-SQL, Stored procedures, Report Builder, SSRS, Microsoft C#, JSON and REST is a plus.
Quantitative Data: Office Environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and computer printer. This position requires frequent communication with other employees; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, M-F, Remote position with in-office requirements as needed at St. Louis and/or Kansas City, MO facilities

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 / year, paid bi-weekly.
