tesa® Double Sided Bonding Tapes
For decades, tesa® tapes have been a market leader in double-sided tapes for bonding and mounting applications. tesa’s full catalog of double-coated bonding tapes includes the following core items. 4965 clear PET (red liner), 4970 white UPVC (gold liner), 51977 white PP (gold liner) and 51970 clear PP (gold liner). These products all offer heavy coat weights of tesa’s modified acrylic adhesive system for excellent performance on most substrates.
tesa® 4965 is ideal for adhesive bonding applications that require secure, permanent, transparent bonds, even to non-polar substrates.
tesa® Tape 4970 is a plasticizer resistant adhesive tape designed for permanent mounting applications where a secure bond is required while bonding rough surfaces
tesa® 51977 is an excellent combination of high initial tack and high adhesion offering a secure bond on rough surfaces and critical substrates such as PP and PE
tesa® 51970 features a UV and moisture resistant acrylic adhesive to aid in rough surface applications that will feature exposure to the elements
tesa® 51966 is an 8 mil double sided filmic tape with a heavy coat weight of tacky acrylic on both sides. It is primarily used for quick stick and long-term performance to a wide variety of substrates, including lower surface energy plastics.
